CLASH OF TITANS

Nowadays, our children go to school and learn a lot of things, but are we sure that what they learn?

In New York city, the preschool children learn through a different method called "Montessori". This method consists of a period of free play to develop the creativity. They also paint and draw.

Kids build stuff and pull it apart on a daily basis and without realizing, they are getting involved in the "divergent thinking" which is the key to solve problems.

In my opinion this methodology is a good way to learn because kids can develop their creativity in a different and funny way.

OBJETIFICATION, A TOP ISSUE

Nowadays we live in a very male chauvinist society, where men think they are above woman.
Constantly,in our lives,in the school, in the job or in the street we are showing our image.
In addition advertising objectifies women and show the "perfect woman" prototype. This creates that more and more girls don´t want to go to class because they don´t like the way they look.
Every day women suffer from gender violence or inequality.

In my opinion the best way to eliminate that is to say it loud. And people should love each other as they are.

LONELINESS, ISOLATION, TEENAGERS, SEX!!!

Nowadays, technologies and social media are very present in our life. We use mobiles phones to search information, shopping online or chatting with friends. But, sometimes this can bring problems.

Loneliness is a very common problem in many teenagers, specially between the ages of 16 and 24. This is because they don´t socialize so much with people or they don´t have many conversations with their parents.

Moreover stadistics show that loneliness is more common in women than in men.
This is because maybe men don´t want to admit their degree of loneliness.

In my opinion parents should pay attention to their children and control what they do. In addition if they use mobile phones that should be under the control of their parents.

TALKING MACHINES

Nowadays machines are very present in our life , but this has advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, machines make our life easier. We can search for information, shopping online or talk with someone. Moreover, scientists have developed an "emotional chatting machine" that can have a conversation with emotions.

On the other hand, machines can be a problem for the society because they create addictions in many people and sometimes they are not safe.

In my opinion machines are very useful but if we use them in the correct way.

FASHIONS!!

Street food fashion is a British revolution of food that is happening in the street.
At this moment a lot of people are selling the most exciting food in vans. These vans serve lunches and fresh dinner at cheaper price to the consumers , but it´s not as easy as it looks. They have to get up early to prepare the van and the physical work is very hard.
Tom Colicchio and other chefs have sold their food in a lot of places like San Francisco and Las Vegas.

In my opinion street food is a good and easy way to sell cooked food and earn a living.

THANKING A RELATIVE OR FRIEND FOR THE ADVICE SHE GAVE ME ON A SPECIFIC PROBLEM

 Dear Grandma,
I´m writing to thank you for your advice about the argument with my best friend. I felt really lost at first!
Last week she and I had a stupid argument. It was something unimportant, but immediately she stopped speaking to me.

I felt sad because I thought she wouldn´t talk to me any more. I found the situation very difficult but I tried not to give up. Your advice about talking with her and trying to solve the problem worked. We are best friends again! We are feeling really happy now.

HAVE YOU EVER BOUGHT ANYTHING ONLINE?








Nowadays there are more people that buy online. This is because shopping online is easier than buying in real shops.

On the one hand shopping online is better because you can find more things and at the best price.You use less time, you can buy from home and you don´t have to do car trips. And for the disabled is more comfortable because they don´t have to move to the stores.

On the other hand shopping online can be uncomfortable for many people. For example for the blind because they find more difficult to use the techologies. In addiction older people don´t know how to buy online. 

Front my point of view shopping online is fast and comfortable, but I prefer go to physical shops because I can try my clothes.

GEN Z TO TAKE OVER

What do the terms: 'Gen Z' and 'take over' mean? Do you think you belong to this Generation Z?

Nowadays the technologies have more and more influence on society.

Teenagers or "Generation Z" as they are called in the article, they have very different attitudes to older age groups. They are boring and screen-addicted.

Statistics show that the Generation Z-er drink less and do not take drugs. This is because they prefer staying at home with their mobiles phones and not going out. In addition experts say that young people will have a longer and healthier life.

In my opinion the techologies are good but sometimes they make us disconnect from the outer world
Moreover they can bring serious health problems.

FURTHER INTO FASHION!!!

In the latest years the fashion style has changed. The young male celebrities are dressing really badly these days like Justin Bieber and Pete Davidson. They are wearing the 2018 men´s fashion, "scumbro".

Scumbros wear oversized, overprized skatewear, graphic t-shirts,ridiculous shoes and hats, and expensive labels. They are criticized because they wear this type of clothes and a lot of people have commented in the social networks their terrible way of dressing.

People should dress the way they want, without worrying concerned about what other people think, but in my opinion I don´t like this fashion style, I think it looks ugly!

 THE BEATLES

The Beatles was an English band of rock and pop formed in Liverpool in 19621.
The members of the group were John Lennon, Paul MCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Later the band worked with different musical genres like pop baladas and psichodelic rock.
They had a great musical success in United Kingdom at the end of 1962 with their firts single
"Love Me Do". 

Over the next seven years they became internationally popular until the year 1966 when the
group split up.
During their study years they created some of their best materials including the album
"Sgt. Pepper´s Lonely Hearts Club Band".

Today their music continues to be popular and they are the group with more numbers one
in the British lists.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN NOW AND MY FIRST YEAR AT SECUNDARY SCHOOL

In my first year at secondary school I didn´t know anyone and I was scared, but now I know all the school perfectly.
I didn´t use to wear a uniform. I used to dress with trousers and t-shirts almost all days.
I used to walk to school with my sister. My teachers used to give me a lot of homework, but now they do not.

In my first year I used to spend much time watching TV, but now I don´t do it any longer.
Now I get up at 7 a.m, and before, I didn´t use to get up early and I was late to class.
In the morning, I used to have breakfast a cup of milk, and now I have a cup of milk and a piece of toast and butter for breakfast.



Before, I used to go to bed late, but now I don´t do it any more.
I used to spend a lot of  money on the coffee bar and now I bring my own food.

Virtual or real relationship?

Constantly, we are sharing stories, pictures, opinions...with other people online. Nonetheless, we are not concious that sometimes the online life reflects an image of us that is not. Normally it is easier to show our emotions that in the real life. But face-to-face friendships involve real emotions and we can get to know the person with its defects and virtues.

In my opinion the online life is not bad, but face-to-face relationships are the best way to show what you are really like.

Food and food waste, a big world problem

This is a comment about a problem very common in many places in the world.

 Nowadays food is very important to survive. Sometimes we throw away the rests of food, but we
don´t think that are many people in different countries that haven´t got enough money to buy food. Many times when people are in crisis or difficult situations they don´t have access to it. So, some supermarkets like Tesco do not waste food that are fit for human consumption. Moreover, in Australia The Inconvenience Store, Melbourne rescue products from bakeries and big supermarkets like Aldi to donate them to customers.
Front my point of view we are really fortunate to be able to have almost all we want, for this reason we have to take care of all we have, and help those people.

"SOMETHING AMAZING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU LAST SUMMER"

Last summer my family and I decided to travel to Italy.

We went there to visit my grandparents. So, we packed our luggage.

Next day we got up at 6 a.m and we went to the airport. While I was waiting, 

I bought a book to read during my holidays.

Next morning we went to visit the Tower of Pisa with my parents, my sisters and my grandparents.

Then, we ate in a fantastic restaurant. I was eating pizza when suddenly, I saw an old friend from school. She was sitting opposite me. I couldn´t believe it! I have not seen her for a long time. We spent a lot of time talking about us. They were great days, but we had to come back home. We got on the plane and we said goodbye to my grandparents.
