The Amazon rainforest, a big issue for the entire planet!!!
The Amazon is the largest tropical forest in the world. It is found in
South America and is very famous for its biodiversity. Nowadays it is
being burned but why is the Amazon burning? Why is this a big deal?
So,
as we know the Amazon is a very wet region, so fires are rare for much
of the year. Experts say that causes point to deforestation. Moreover,
Amazon burning has very bad consequences. Plants use the carbon dioxide
from the air to give back oxygen to the enviroment. This oxygen is
essential for living beings, since it allows us to breathe and perform
vital functions.
In addition, Amazon is not only very important
for our health but also its destruction has also consequences for the
living being that live in it. There are 50% of plants and 20% of birds
from all over the planet. And finally, air pollution is harmful to
people´s health.
In conclusion, the fire of the Amazon is a
terrible catastrophe that must be controlled. If we do not act quickly
and stop this, the consequences will be worse.
