PLASTIC, THE BIGGEST THREAT FOR OUR SEAS.

 Plastic is very common material today. People all over the world use plastic every day, in bottles,bags wrappings, clothes and many others objects that we use in our day to day. But why is it so important to be concerned of the use of plastic?

Some of this plastic is recycled but many others end in the sea or the ocean floating on the surface. Many scientists say that Mediterranean Sea is a great accumulation zone of plastic debris. But marine plastic pollution is a problem that is spreading across other oceans like Atlantic or Pacific.

The plastic is a long-lasting, so we can find plastic in every corner of the planet. Once plastic objects reach the sea, they can be ingested by marine fauna and accumulate inside, they can float on the surface or they can sink to the bottom of the sea. The plastic gets broken into smaller pieces generating the microplastics.

To sum up, plastic is a very used material in our everyday life,so we find it everywhere. However it can be very dangerous if we do not recycle it correctly. So, in my opinion we should reduce the use of plastic and to take care of our planet.
